What is Resonance?

So many of us learned early on that connection wasn’t safe.

That to belong, we had to perform. That to be loved, we had to disappear.

Resonance is a place to unlearn that.

Our work is relational — we don’t sit across from you taking notes on who you are.

We join you.

We notice patterns together, we stay present through rupture and repair, and we make space for the parts of you that had to go quiet to survive.

Because the healing isn’t in the technique — it’s in the relationship.

It’s in being seen, felt, and stayed with until you can start offering yourself that same presence.

That’s the medicine.

Meet Our Founder

Amanda Singh-Bans (she/her)

One of my favorite quotes is by Jonathan Louis Dent, who wrote, “Imagine if we measured success by the amount of safety people felt in our presence.”

Being a safe person is a core value that guides my decisions and shapes how I show up in every space. It’s also a skill I’ve learned to cultivate and teach, helping others build the conditions for safety and trust within their teams.

More About Amanda

Our Approach

We draw from trauma-informed and evidence-based practices — EMDR, relational-cultural therapy, parts work, somatic-informed approaches, attachment and relational repair — and we apply these same principles to how people and teams grow.

The foundation is always relationship. Whether in a therapeutic or organizational setting, we move at your pace. We listen deeply and adapt to what’s needed in the moment.

We invite honesty and curiosity, even when things feel messy. Through that process, individuals and teams learn to hold themselves and each other with greater care — building safety, trust, and alignment from the inside out.

Who We Work With

Therapy - Our Clients

Many of our clients explore experiences such as:

  • Multiracial/bicultural/monoracial identities and cultural dislocation

  • Queer and neurodivergent experiences

  • Intergenerational trauma and family rupture

  • Cultural loss and disconnection

  • Burnout, perfectionism, and people-pleasing

  • Feeling “between worlds” or “too much”

In this space, you don’t have to hold it all together. You get to be met, as you are, and practice what it’s like to be in relationship that heals — with a therapist who’s real, and eventually, with yourself.

The relationship is medicine, and it starts here.

Coaching and Consulting - Who We Partner With

We partner with leaders, teams, and organizations who are carrying the weight of culture change — often alone. You might be the one everyone turns to for care, clarity, or accountability. The one holding the torch for equity, even when you’re exhausted. You’re committed to creating safety and belonging, but you know it has to start with how you lead and relate.

We work with people who are navigating:

  • Racial dynamics, including working with leaders with intersectional identities

  • The strain of leading equity or DEIB work within complex systems

  • Team dynamics shaped by trauma, hierarchy, or burnout

  • The gap between values and practice — wanting to lead with integrity, not just intention

  • The fear that if this doesn’t work, trust will be gone

At Resonance, we help you become the kind of leader others trust to guide real change. Our work blends the science and the soul of connection — grounding culture change in relationship, not performance.

We help you and your team build safety, trust, and resilience that last — so work feels less like survival and more like belonging.
